Lead Pastor OVERVIEW: Denomination: Non-Denominational Weekly Attendance: Approximately 50 adults, youth, and children Location: Located in Naples, NY and serving people in the south-central Finger Lakes region. Role: The Lead Pastor at Heart Cry Christian Fellowship (HCCF) is the staff member to whom the Elders have delegated responsibility to provide spiritual guidance to the church body and leadership of the staff. About Heart Cry Christian Fellowship: Heart Cry Christian Fellowship is a family of believers committed to the lordship of Jesus Christ and the historic, essential beliefs of evangelical Christianity. Our desire is to know God the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ, and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are an independent congregation, which means we are led locally by our pastor, and governed by our own board. Incorporated August 27, 1999, HCCF exists to advance the Kingdom of God locally and globally by equipping its diverse congregation through sound biblical teaching. Together with the Lead Pastor, the Elders are responsible for discerning the direction and guiding the spiritual growth of this church body. DESCRIPTION OF THE CANDIDATE’S CALLING: The goal of HCCF is to advance the Kingdom of God in a way which is pleasing to God our Father, glorifying to Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, and powered by and in partnership with the Holy Spirit. The candidate is required to provide leadership and guidance, in line with sound doctrine, to the body of believers who attend HCCF, as well as to the staff. This person must work well with a team of ministry leaders and Elders. The candidate must lead with humility and in the wisdom that the Lord our God provides to all who ask.
