Washington Cathedral is an interdenominational church in Redmond, Washington which has been located on the east side of Lake Washington for 37 years. The church has a reputation of being a pillar to the community, providing spectacular Christmas and Easter dramas, being a Great Caring Network, providing pastoral care for those in the hospital, and memorial services with meals. We have an active local and global ministries program, as well as a vibrant small groups ministry. We love to engage people in using their spiritual gifts, helping them to find a ministry that fits them well. This ministry position offers a great opportunity to carry forward our legacy of being a great caring network by helping people find a life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ. We are seeking an individual who will lead and grow family ministries, while also training to become the Lead Pastor. This person will embody a passion for Jesus and His people, with a heart for helping people grow to Christian maturity. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, fun to be around, has a teachable spirit, and is eager to learn.  

Specific requirements include: 

• Bachelor’s degree required as a minimum, Master of Divinity preferred
• 5+ years of paid ministry experience  
• Demonstrated experience in leading and growing/expanding a ministry group 
• Collaborative work ethic
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• Public speaking experience is highly desired, or willing to learn if not experienced
