Pastor

We're looking for the pastor that God has for us for the future of Pine Grove! If you are interested, we would love to have you apply. Our Pastor's basic job description includes:

   • Set the overall vision, direction, and goals of the church

   • Be given to prayer and study of the Word

   • Lead and grow other pastoral and church staff through meetings, communication, advisement, and evaluation

   • Lead the corporate worship services and prepare sermon/message for them

   • Meet and consult with elder body on theological/spiritual matters

   • Meet and consult with deacon body on fiscal/operational matters

   • Conduct weddings and funerals for members

   • Counsel with individuals and families

   • Be able to balance and separate time for church and family

   • Lead the church charge to missions and evangelism

Pine Grove Church currently operates with a four member Elder Council and a ten member Deacon Council.

The experience for this position should be considered as two or more years of pastor experience in some capacity, regardless of what the listing shows.
