About Apostles Houston

Apostles was planted by a small group of families in 2013 in River Oaks and relocated to the Heights in 2015. From the beginning, our community has been marked by a love for children. We currently have approximately 150 adult members with 85 children from nursery to fourth grade and 12 students from 5th-12th grade. The average Sunday attendance is 110 adults, 40 children, and 5 youth. We have one service at 10 am each Sunday, with approximately 70 adult members participating in life groups.

We believe we were made for life with God and one another! Therefore we are committed to being a community following Jesus in Houston. As disciple-making disciples, we live as family in the way of Jesus learning to love one another and our neighbors.

So we take up the way of Jesus by:

  1. Gathering for weekly worship.
  2. Learning to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do the kinds of things Jesus did in LifeGroups.
  3. Proclaiming the good news of Jesus in word and deed.
