Focus: To support the vision, mission, and guiding principles of The Bridge Fellowship by leading, unifying, and executing all components of communications. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Create + maintain communication strategies to communicate, inform, and promote series, events, ministry aspects, etc.  
  • Partner with ministries, meeting with them and creating communication plans to mobilize their specific audiences to respond. 
  • Create and develop a strategic plan to grow and strengthen our online presence during our live weekend service.
  • Grow our online attendance.  
  • Manage all aspects of TBF website 
  • Supervision of Contract Designer/Web Developer 
  • Content Management + Maintenance 
  • Efficient + effective functionality 
  • Artistic + creative excellence 
  • Proactively work to make sure TBF maintains an effective presence on the web including style/presence, search engine optimization, + new technologies. 
  • Oversee all written communications 
  • Will require writing, editing, and proofing for accuracy + appropriateness
  • Work in tandem with the Social Media Coordinator to produce + maintain a steady social media presence across platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc. 
  • Start a TikTok account and creatively grow the following 
  • Utilize reels to publish sermon clips
  • Manage on going social media messaging and communication strategies
  • Creatively build followings on various social media outlets
  • Lead efforts for the Contract Designer to design all graphics related to TBF with a high standard of creativity, excellence, and effectiveness. 
  • Lead efforts for the Contract Videographer to produce creative and effective video. 
  • Work in tandem with the Worship Pastor to create consistency in messaging. 
  • Develop creative ways to communicate desired messages/announcements with the worship audience. 
  • Join brainstorming and creative sessions in developing sermon series and events. 
  • Write + oversee video announcement production for weekend services.
  • Brand Management: Monitor the look, vibe, feel of all materials representing TBF. 
  • Police the use of logos and images that represent TBF
  • Create policies and procedures related to the branding of TBF. 
  • Oversee that every Sunday service, event, or gathering is photographed and create and maintain a library of updated photos that are easily accessible to staff members. 
  • Cultivate, lead, and manage volunteer teams to accomplish communication goals.
  • Continually looking for ways to communicate existing church-wide and ministry events in creative ways that will evoke a response from the congregation and community. Access and determine the most effective way to communicate a message to its intended audience. 
  • Serve as an air traffic controller, keeping communication requests on time and on budget. 
  • Keep ears open to stories of life-change within the church. Develop ways to creatively communicate those stories.

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are clear and effective 
  • Demonstrated competency in the following software applications: 
  • Google Suites (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive, Calendar) 
  • Planning Center 
  • Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop
  • Mac Operating
  • Successful goal setting, follow-up, and achievement skills
