Horizons International's Marketing Content Specialist will be responsible for adapting existing ministry data, testimonials, and information into attractive donor-facing communications content. In this role, you will develop cross-channel promotional campaigns that will help existing and potential partners to understand Horizons’ range of partnership opportunities, including but not limited to training courses, mission trips, conferences, project funding, and volunteering.
This role requires digital marketing proficiency, as it will include website content management, social media posting, blogging, creating and executing promotional email campaigns, administrating webinars for partners, and possibly some design work. Duties will also include collaborating with communications team members to design and develop physical collateral, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, and fundraising pieces.
The Marketing Content Specialist will be primarily responsible for the development and execution of digital marketing, so familiarity with modern marketing tools is crucial. However, the MCS is not alone. You will report directly to the Communications Manager, and interact closely with team members responsible for information gathering, content oversight, web development, fundraising, and organizational leadership.
