Summary:
First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas, is seeking a full-time Student Minister who feels a calling to work with our children and youth.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and promote a balanced program of activities and discipleship ministry to youth (grades 7-12).
- Oversee Youth Sunday School and Wednesday Evenings.
- Train and involve youth and youth leaders in outreach.
- Involve youth in ministry and mission projects.
- Support youth in their school setting.
- Partner with parents and be available to discuss issues related to their child or youth ministry.
- Coordinate with the pastor and other ministry leaders in the church.
- Be available and willing to participate in every area of church ministry.
Requirements
- Requires commitment to biblical Christian principles and teachings and have a heart for Jesus Christ.
- Be an example of Christian honesty and integrity; representing our Lord and His church in a worthy manner.
- Follow the biblical example of stewardship.
- Keep an attitude of ministry mindedness in all that you do.
