Youth Minister

COMPENSATION: 45K-55K + Health plan

OVERVIEW: The Youth Ministry Director supports the mission of the church by parnering with families to lead individuals from 7th-12th to visit, connect, grow, serve, and go. This position WINS when youth make life-changing discipleship commitments and are serving throughout the ministries of the church.

GOALS:

·        12 youth life-change God stories each year.

·        15 youth serving throughout the ministries of the church

·        15 youth on mission trip in 2023

·        25 youth at camp in 2023

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General

·        Conduct yourself above reproach

·        Participate in staff-related office functions by attending and participating in meetings, including attending all staff meetings unless excused by the pastor.

Youth Ministry

·        Develop and implement a youth faith path that supports the overall church faith path

·        Plan and oversee at least two youth connection events throughout the year.

·        Plan and support one youth mission trip/summer camp each year.

·        Plan and oversee 2 discipleship events each year.

·        Plan and support additional events and deemed necessary to support the youth faith path.

·        Continually collaborate with the pastor to ensure that the youth ministry supports the church faith path.

·        Plan and oversee the Woodridge groups program.

·        Plan and oversee the weeknight youth gathering.
