Job Description

Goal:

To use creativity and technology to help spread the message of Christ with excellence. The ideal candidate would be able to create content throughout the week such as graphic design or video projects. They would also lead our production booth team on Sunday which oversees live mixing, lighting, cameras, screens, and online media.


Basic Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Illustrator).
  • Proficient in running all elements of live production in a modern church service.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Build and train a production team to navigate service lighting, camera(s), screen(s), and online media.
  • Schedule team members to serve in each area on Sundays and during special events.
  • Raise up other leaders.
  • Keep production booth and equipment clean, in order, & up to date.
  • Serve as primary day to day manager for production equipment. Trouble shoot equipment when needed. Update equipment when needed.
  • Produce online services. Upload sermons to website and app as soon as possible after each weekly service.
  • Graphic Design - Create graphics within a timely manner for events, sermon series, etc.
  • Oversee Photography and Videography team. Help create videos within a timely manner for events, sermon series, etc. Make sure high-quality photos are taken and uploaded weekly. 
  • Help troubleshoot I.T. issues.
  • Keep website and app looking good and updated with current information.

Every team leader at Centerpoint should do these 4 things:

1. Recruit - Share the vision to help people understand the part they can play in the story. Usually, one on one, face to face recruiting is most effective.

2. Train - Meet with your team at least once a month. Communicate often. Model culture. Reproduce yourself.

3. Organize - Plan ahead. Send the schedule out early. Give details needed. Explain each person’s role and goal. Have people worship one; serve one.

4. Pastor - Pray for and with your team. Encourage, recognize, and reward. Spend time with your team outside of ministry. Address issues of concern when they come up.
