Worship Pastor

The Rock Church in Spokane is a place where you can be REAL with God and your community.

While we are a new Church it is our desire to constantly raise people up to multiply where the ministry will last beyond us. It is our goal to equip you to be the best leader you can be. We are a Church that plants Churches. If you don't like evangelism or missions, this isn't a place for you.

Since 2018 we have seen God save over 100 people and we have had 81 baptisms. We are debt free as a Church and are about to build a building as a Hub to train people plus send them out.

We have around 60-80 people that attend online.

Duties of the Worship Leader will include but not limited to:

Believing the basic Biblical doctrines of THE ROCK CHURCH. (rockchurchspokane.com/about)

Meeting with the Lead Pastor Team weekly to help collectively lead God’s people.

Selecting worship songs that both fit the theme of the service as well as the musical style of our congregation.

Leading rehearsals of our worship team.

Creating a track for The Rock people to use their God given gifts to get involved into the worship team.

While most Churches lump music and tech together, we desire for the Worship Director to completely focus on music, their equipment, their team and direction for building multiple teams.

Plan songs and your team out two months in advance. This will help train people and equip people to lead well.

It is not required for the Worship Director to be on stage every week. Multiplying the worship team is always something to strive for.

Desired Qualities:

A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

The ability to lead worship from the keyboard or guitar.

Someone who is a learner and willing to work in a team with the Lead Pastor Team and the Lead Launch Team.

A leader is a learner. Listen to a podcast, watch youtube videos or read a book.

Compensation: 

We desire to equip the Worship Pastor in every way possible.

We will provide a compensation of $800 a month plus support raising. 

(All of our staff are support raised. We will train you with how we have been able to support raise over half a million $ in the past few years.)

A cell phone plan or reimbursement plan of $30 for your current service.

A budget to help cover the cost of the musical equipment and worship sheets.

Top of the line tools like Planning Center and Text-in-Church to make the job as easy as possible to stay connected and train people.

Any books related to your area of leadership.

The cost of any leadership conference in your area of ministry.
