CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES (ages 4 to 5th grade)
➢ Provide direction, structure and planning for all aspects of ministry to children.
➢ Create an atmosphere that will excite and inspire children.
➢ Recruit, train and support volunteer servants.
➢ Research and select biblically-based curriculum for Jr. Church, Sunday School, and/or God Squad.
➢ Create ministries that are age-appropriate, organized, consistent and safe.
➢ Ability to adapt curriculum and lessons to participating children.
➢ Provide leadership and coordinate outreach events for children throughout the year.
➢ Recruit train and coordinate volunteers for the nursery and its upkeep during the Sunday morning worship service (and Sunday School if occurring).
➢ Promote and communicate ministries and events effectively inside and outside the church.
➢ Work with local area Child Evangelism Fellowship Director to help minister to children at Zion who may be participating or have available Good News Clubs within area local schools.
➢ Promote summer camping and spiritual growth events to children and families.
