HopeKids Director
Reports to: Lead Pastor & Dream Team Director
Direct Reports: All HopeKids Team Leaders & Volunteers
Paid-Position, Staff, Part-time (15 hours/week, $1000/month)
You are:
· Passionate about sharing the vision of HopeKids with families in the church, people in the community, and volunteers.
· A team builder who leads and executes the vision of HopeKids, who inspires others to serve and grow to their full potential, and who also focuses on the good of the entire organization.
· Driven to reach kids by being relevant and helpful and providing a safe, life-giving space for them to connect with other kids and leaders.
· An advocate for connecting with parents and equipping them to be the leader of their child’s spiritual development.
· A strong leader and communicator who listens well and works within the greater team and vision of Hope Church KC.
· The primary communicator to children of the gospel on behalf of Hope KC.
· A proven project manager with strong attention to details and administrative skills.
· A Chief-Problem-Solver (CPS).
· An ideal team player who is humble, hungry, and smart.
You will:
· Provide leadership, vision and direction so that HopeKids creates a safe, life-giving environment for all children and families who attend Hope Church KC.
· Create or locate helpful, engaging and relevant content to share with kids.
· Create and implement a life-giving strategy that draws in families to connect with the church through HopeKids ministry.
· Lead and develop teams and volunteers so that they are operating in their strengths and being most effective in their roles on the HopeKids team.
· Create a presence of HopeKids ministry in the community.
· Be a model for those who attend Hope Church KC by being an example of personal integrity, discipleship, and mission.
