Christ Community Church is located at Paradise RV Resort in Sun City, AZ. Paradise is an age qualified resort and most church members are seniors. Previous experience ministering to seniors would be as asset. Strong speaking and teaching skills are also desirable.
Christ Community Church is a non-denominational, evangelical, Bible based church, with a desire to worship Christ through ministry, music, and Christian fellowship. Sun City is in the “Valley of the Sun” in the northwest part of the greater Phoenix area. Since most church attenders are “snowbirds”, church attendance varies between summer and winter. The church meets year-round in the ballroom at the RV Resort for regular Sunday morning worship services, and on Thursday nights for mid-week Bible study. We are looking for a full-time, permanent pastor.
The pastor will be responsible for leading and shepherding the church body in functioning as a non-denominational church, and for providing spiritual instruction and strategic leadership to the Church Worship Committee and regular attendees of the church.

The pastor’s purpose will be to clearly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach biblical truth, to engage in pastoral care, provide administrative leadership in all areas of church life and function, and conduct the ordinances and functions of worship. The pastor serves under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Worship Committee, and directly receives counsel from the Worship Committee, who is the administrative body of the church.
