Position: Campus Pastor – Austin, TX

Reports to: Lead Pastor / Executive / U.S. Expansion Board (Attitude Baptist Church of Orlando – INC.)

Location: Austin, Texas

Status: Full-time, ministry (40+ hrs/week, Sundays and evenings required)

Role Summary

The Campus Pastor for the Austin campus will oversee the spiritual, operational, administrative, and missional life of the campus, ensuring that the vision, culture, and values of Attitude Baptist Church of Orlando are carried out locally. This role requires a strong pastoral leader who can build teams, care for people, preach sound doctrine, and execute services and ministries with excellence. We are looking for someone who combines a pastoral heart with organizational strength — someone who can lead people, develop leaders, and grow the campus within the U.S. expansion strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Worship, Teaching & Pastoral Ministry

• Preach biblically sound, Christ-centered messages in alignment with the church’s doctrine.
• Officiate baptisms, communion, weddings, funerals, baby dedications, and special services.
• Plan and oversee weekly worship services, seasons of prayer, and church-wide campaigns in partnership with the worship team.

2. Pastoral Leadership & Care

• Shepherd the congregation, providing spiritual care, biblical counseling, and prayer.
• Mentor emerging leaders, ministry coordinators, and potential future planters.
• Model integrity, accountability, and a servant-leadership posture.

3. Discipleship, Groups & Onboarding

• Launch and oversee small groups/cell structure for discipleship and pastoral care.
• Train and resource group leaders for healthy multiplication.
• Organize membership classes, new believer tracks, and integration for newcomers.

4. Campus Operations & Administration

• Lead and develop the local team (staff and volunteers) to execute Sunday services and midweek ministries with excellence (hospitality, kids, worship, tech).
• Oversee local administrative routines, facility use, and basic financial stewardship of the campus.
• Prepare and submit reports to the Attitude U.S. Executive Leadership as required (attendance, finance, outreach, leadership).
• Organize leadership meetings, campus huddles, and annual vision casting for the campus.

5. Culture, Alignment & Reporting

• Protect and replicate the DNA, language, worship style, and ministry philosophy of Attitude Baptist Church of Orlando.
• Operate under the strategic direction of the U.S. Expansion Board and central leadership in Orlando.
• Participate in periodic travel to Orlando HQ or other U.S. campuses for trainings, conferences, or joint initiatives.

6. Missions, Evangelism & Community Engagement

• Lead the campus to be missional, outward-focused, and engaged with the community.
• Implement local evangelism, mercy ministry, and partnership opportunities in Austin and surrounding areas.
• Represent the church in partnerships, public events, and kingdom collaborations.

7. Worship & Service Support (Preferred)

• Provide oversight and support to the local worship ministry to ensure spiritual and musical alignment with the movement.
• Serve as a link to the central/global worship team when needed.

Qualifications

• Personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with the doctrine and vision of Attitude Baptist Church of Orlando – INC.
• Ordained or formally recognized as a pastor (Baptist or compatible evangelical credential).
• 5+ years of pastoral/ministry leadership experience, preferably including campus, executive, or multi-ministry oversight.
• Demonstrated experience with small groups/cell ministry, discipleship pathways, or leadership development.
• Experience overseeing and developing large or complex teams (church, military, or organizational).
• Experience serving in or with a multisite/church-planting network is a plus.
• Language: advanced English and Portuguese (must be able to preach/teach, lead meetings, and communicate with HQ in both). Spanish at basic/intermediate level is a plus.
• High loyalty to vision, strong communication, and a pastoral heart.

Working Conditions

• Full-time role (40+ hours/week) with Sundays and some evenings required.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Austin, TX area (or another U.S. campus if reassigned by leadership).
• Occasional travel to Orlando HQ or other campuses in the U.S., as assigned.
• Willingness to serve in a growing, expansion-oriented environment where flexibility is needed.

Compensation & Support

• Salary: to be defined by Attitude Baptist Church of Orlando – U.S. Expansion Board for the Austin campus.
• Relocation support and housing transition guidance (as available).

• Paid vacation annually - 30 days.
