Worship/Youth Pastor or Youth Pastor

Our church in Roanoke, VA is prayerfully seeking a full-time Worship/Youth Pastor. Over the past few years, God has been doing a beautiful work here; renewing our church’s heart for reaching the next generation and helping us move from being inward-focused to outwardly engaged with our community. We’ve seen Him answer our prayers; our youth group has grown, young families have come, and a spirit of unity and purpose has taken root.

We sense that this next season is pivotal. We’re asking the Lord to bring us a man who has a heart for authentic worship and the ability to play the keyboard or guitar while leading (not just lead songs, but help lead people into the presence of God through a blended worship style).

Also, we're asking the Lord for this man to have a passion for discipling the next generation (grades 6-12). Our current youth pastor has accepted a new position as Children's Pastor at another ministry and will be leaving in December.

Our church averages 130 on Sunday; this allows ministry to be more personal and family-oriented. The pace is different; there’s room for relationships, rest, and real ministry impact. I would love the opportunity to connect and to share more about our heart, our people, and the possibilities we see.

Competitive salary is based on experience and training. We are a grace-filled, unaffiliated Baptist church in a beautiful part of our country.
