Associate Pastor

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Divine Calling To Serve

2. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry, Divinity, and/or Theology from an Accredited College or University, and has attended Seminary.

3. Clean Background Check and Valid Driver's License

4. Strong Communication Skills

5. Knowledge of church administrative duties (annual business meetings, budgets, etc.)

REPORTS TO: Pastor and Pastoral Search Committee

JOB GOAL: To support Pastor Dellas in planning and carrying out the goals of the

Church. To be committed to making and growing disciples of Jesus Christ. 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions and elements of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

General:

1. Fill the pulpit during the regular service in times when the pastor is absent or as needed for pastoral and part-time associate pastor mentoring.
2. Fill the pulpit for the Sunday school service
3. Conduct regular community outreach to bring new people to hear God’s Word at Scullville Bible Church.
4. Participate in mentoring sessions with the pastor.

Administrative:

1. Support and work alongside of the Lead Pastor, Pete Dellas

Congregational Development:

1. To encourage the spiritual growth of the congregation.

Other Assigned Duties:

1. As designated

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Time Period: January 1, 2022 - June 30, 2022

Salary: Around $20,000*

*We are anticipating making this a full time position as of July 1, 2022. Salary and duties would be renegotiated at that time.
