OVERVIEW
Our current lead pastor of 20 years is looking to retire in the near future. We are looking for an individual who can work into this position over the time-frame of 6 months to 1 year.
The ministry of Valley Community Chapel includes the church and the preschool and daycare ministries. We teach through the scriptures chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse. We are similar to a Calvary Chapel, but we are not affiliated with any denomination.
Ideally we are seeking an individual with a family, a well rounded experience in the ministry, a deep relationship with Jesus, handles the Word of God with excellence and is gifted in preaching and teaching. He also should have talents which include; team management, business understanding, and some technical aptitude.
We believe education is extremely important, however we do not list specific education requirements for this position because we believe God qualifies the called and we are open to whoever that may be.
VCC is a non-denominational church in the high-desert of Yucca Valley, California just minutes away from the Joshua Tree National Park. We teach chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse through the Bible. We also have a full preschool & daycare program that has served our community since 2003.
