Worship Pastor

Vista Church of Orlando, Florida is seeking a Worship Pastor to join their team. They are looking for someone who can lead teams of volunteers and the church congregation musically in engaging and creative ways. This person will bring a passion for Christ, energy on stage, and have an authentic and growing relationship with Jesus. The Worship Pastor will be a dynamic team leader with influence across cultures, generations, and demographics. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop creative services relevant to the target culture and community, including song selection, creative direction, and experiential elements: audio, video, lighting, testimonies, etc.
• Oversee environment and experience of weekend gatherings
• Shepherd the music experience to ensure Biblically grounded music
• Provide a pastoral presence at weekend services and counsel with others as needed
• Recruit, develop, and oversee a program for growing volunteers in their understanding of worship and their musical abilities
• Provide specific pastoral care for each person serving in the worship ministry
