Position Summary: The Social Media Coordinator is a central support position, responsible for all social media content created within the communications department (also referred to as Creative Team).

Position Reports To: Digital Marketing Manager
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
- Manage all church social media channels.
- Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar.
- Ensure that live social media content happens across campuses for Sunday services and other church events.
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquires, and comments.
- Collaborate with Creative team on special projects.
- Other Duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience with social media marketing & content development
- Strong skills in media and marketing
- Strong verbal skills, with a bias towards clarity
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Predisposed towards creative problem solving
- Deep belief in the value of interpersonal communication skills
- An eye for detail
- Ability to plan, organize and multitask in a deadline intensive environment
- Ability to take on projects and see them through to completion
- Experience using social media management tools (Sprout Social, Facebook Business, etc.)
Conditions And Physical Requirements:
The job will primarily be carried out in an office, studio, or church facility. It won't all be behind the desk. It's expected from time to time for you to be available at other campuses and venues.
