The Student Pastor is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the spiritual growth and development of students (grades 6 through 12). This includes leadership of weekly programs and periodic special events (conferences, service projects, etc.). Looking for a strong leader with a solid work ethic, possessing a passion for teaching students about Jesus and the ability to administrate as a department head. A working knowledge of creative programming related to student programs, AWANA, and special events is a real plus.
NorthWoods Church is a congregation of about 450 people who live and work in Evansville, Indiana. The church is a broad spectrum of people from blue collar people who work at the nearby Toyota plant, to many professionals who work in nearby industries. The church was planted by our Lead Pastor about 15 years ago. It has a strong bias towards missions and evangelism, challenging members to share the Gospel where they are and, if possible, serve on the mission field. We have several annual trips to serve in Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Ireland, as well as some other partnerships that are developing. The worship style is contemporary/blended and the Bible teaching is expository.
