YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY DIRECTOR

The Young Adults Ministry Director is a new role at Westside Community Church whose primary responsibility is to be an advocate for young adults (18-28) who are exploring faith at Westside. This role is to oversee all elements of programming for Westside Community Church’s Young Adults.

• The leadership skills to align staff and volunteers with the vision, values, and strategy of Westside Community Church. 
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
• Passion for reaching unchurched young adults.
• A drive for developing and supporting spiritual growth.
• The leadership skills to build a team, delegate, and scale a ministry.

Responsibilities: 

• Regularly connecting with new and existing young adults transitioning from high school through their 20s.
• Run healthy and growing growth groups for young adults.
• Plan and execute on-ramp events designed to connect existing and new young adults in the community.
• Lead a team with excellence through recruiting, regular team rallies, coaching, training, and resourcing.
• To develop leaders, to ensure the greatest impact.  
• Drive ministry excellence and growth of the ministry.

The Position:

The position is a part-time (10 hours/week) position, with Sunday morning attendance expectations as well as weekly staff meetings (Tuesday mornings).  This position reports to the Executive Pastor.
