Worship Specialist

SUMMARY

The Bay Church is seeking an experienced worship leader to help lead strategy, planning and execution as well as advancing the mission, vision, and values of The Bay Church.

Based in Concord, California, the Worship Specialist will help to develop and execute worship strategies and guidance for weekend services, across all campuses. We are looking for someone committed to continual development as a leader and mature Christ-follower.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• You possess gifting and experience in leading worship. (Ideally comfortable playing an instrument)
• You have passion for great work, you can see potential and nourish it and have a tremendous ability to educate and influence leaders to drive that work forward.
• Experience with digital audio workstations. (DAW’s - preferably Ableton Live)
• Experience with digital performance software/equipment. (MainStage/Kemper etc.)
• Collaborate with Creative Team (Production, Communications, Worship) to design our weekend services as well as driving continual innovation.
• You thrive being a part of a cross-functional team yet also have the ability to lead.
• You are flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment while working as a member of a high-performing team.
• You can confidently build rapport, credibility and influence throughout the team.

DESCRIPTION

• Plan and schedule teams for weekend services and special events.
• Lead worship 3-4 times per month.
• Develop and drive central processes, across The Bay Church campuses, to improve the quality and effectiveness.
• Lead the development and delivery of set lists and resources.
• Responsible for Ableton database management.
• Create patches/samples for all performance software/equipment.

SALARY RANGE/HOURLY RATE

$16 to $18 per hour (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)
