Purpose: Pioneer Church is seeking a Spirit-led, Gospel-saturated, Biblically qualified man to be our worship pastor. We believe the role of worship leader in the Bible is a teaching/authoritative role (Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19), therefore we are seeking a man, called by God, to Shepherd His Church alongside a plurality of elders, within the specific skillset of musical worship. Below are the expectations for this position.

• Seek to have an on-going and growing relationship with Jesus, and maintain a lifestyle of repentance and integrity as the face of Pioneer Church Worship
• Possess the Biblical qualifications and character of a Pastor as outlined in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5 • Be ordained or willing to pursue ordination into pastoral ministry within the local Church
• Hold to a Biblical Theology of worship in the context of the Church and be able to articulate that in teaching and practice
• Prioritize personal relationship with Christ and pastoral care of family before ministry to Pioneer Church
• Commit to open, honest accountability with fellow elders in the areas of personal holiness, spiritual health, and ministry effectiveness
• Be accessible to the worship team as one of the staff pastors—shepherding them to grow in their walk with Christ as well as in their musical gifts

• Oversee the collection and accounting of weekly tithes and offerings and set up a rotation of volunteers
• Maintain accurate records of weekly worship gathering attendance
• Oversee the uploading of weekly sermons to podcast

We are a 6-year-old church plant that just finalized an adoption of an older congregation and assumed their campus. We are a multi-generational, elder-led, Gospel saturated, relevant body of believers. Our Vision is to be a gathering of Kingdom People, with Kingdom Passions, who fulfill Jesus' Kingdom Purpose.
