Associate Pastor

Fairfield Christian Church is seeking a part-time Associate Pastor to help lead, disciple, and care for our church family. This role will focus on overseeing Lifestage Hangouts, contributing to teaching and preaching, and serving in areas aligned with the individual’s spiritual gifts.

The Associate Pastor will provide leadership and direction for Lifestage Hangouts by equipping volunteer leaders, fostering meaningful relationships, and helping people move from attending to belonging. They will build connections across the church, offering pastoral care, encouragement, and guidance as people take next steps in their faith.

This role includes regular teaching responsibilities, including preaching approximately 12–15 times per year, as well as contributing to sermon planning and discipleship environments such as classes or small groups.

The Associate Pastor will work closely with the Lead Pastor and staff team, supporting the overall mission and vision of the church while remaining flexible to serve in additional ministry areas based on their gifting.

Candidates should demonstrate a clear and growing relationship with Jesus, alignment with the beliefs and mission of Fairfield Christian Church, the ability to communicate Scripture clearly and faithfully, and strong relational and leadership skills. Prior ministry experience is preferred.

This is a part-time position with hours and compensation based on availability and experience.
