Description: The worship director is someone with a deep love for Jesus Christ and His people; someone with a passion for music and the role it plays in congregational worship; someone who is able to thrive in a team
environment; and someone who is able to envision and energize a community using the great hymns of the
past and the current contemporary expressions of worship to create a gospel-shaped worship experience.
Responsibilities
• Lead worship during the Sunday service(s) (includes utilizing and directing volunteer music and production teams).
• Design services (this includes Pro Presenter, oversight of worship guide (bulletin) preparation, oversight of sound/av) in collaboration with the lead pastor and production team.
• Recruit, develop, and shepherd volunteers for music and production teams.
• Prepare all musical elements and resources needed in order to direct weekly rehearsals.
• Manage scheduling and communication with volunteers in Planning Center.
• Work with lead pastor for stage design and look and feel of worship space.
• Edit and upload weekly sermon podcasts.

• Strong musical abilities, strong communication skills.
• Skilled at recruiting volunteers for Music and Productions/AVL.
• Proficiency in Planning Center Online and Pro Presenter.
• Knowledge and experience of worship leadership in various settings.

• Strong aptitude for verbal and written communication and presentation.
