
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Administration
- Collaborate with the Elders’ Board in overseeing church ministries and programs,
including children’s ministry (Royalty Kids, Kingdom Kids), youth ministry, Life Groups,
and community outreach.
- Attend committee and board meetings regularly and provide accountability regarding
weekly activities and ministry progress.
- Collaborate with the Elders’ Board in encouraging & supervising church staff and
ministry leaders.
- Maintain effective communication with the congregation through electronic platforms,
presentations, and other media.
Preaching, Teaching & Evangelism
- Prepare and deliver compelling sermons for Sunday worship services.
- Collaborate with the Elders’ Board in overseeing discipleship programs and lead
courses or classes as your availability allows.
- Collaborate with the Elders to lead and actively participate in evangelistic outreach
initiatives, fostering opportunities to share the Gospel and grow the church’s influence
- Coordinate with worship team leaders to plan service themes and structure.
Pastoral Care
- Provide pastoral counseling and support to individuals, families, and church members
in times of need.
- Engage in weekly Life Groups and prayer ministries, supporting and contributing as
needed
- Officiate weddings, funerals, and other significant ceremonies as needed.
- Identify and encourage spiritual gifts within the congregation to promote the health
and growth of the church.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Spiritual & Personal Qualities
- Mature Christian character with a genuine love for God and His Church.
- Humble servant-leader following the biblical model (John 13; 1 Peter 5:1-4; 1 Timothy
3; Titus 1).
- Strong initiative and ability to operate independently.
- Gifted preacher and teacher with a deep understanding of Scripture.
- Effective communicator across all generations.
- Heart for evangelism and compassion for those in need.
- Committed to a consistent daily prayer life.
- Leadership skills that inspire, motivate, and challenge the congregation.
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Christian Ministry, or Biblical Studies is preferred,
though candidates with a diploma or certificate in Christian Ministry may be considered
- Equivalent education may be considered for candidates with a significant amount of
Christian ministry experience, especially serving as a Senior Pastor."
Legal & Administrative Requirements
- Agreement with Faith Bible Church’s Statement of Faith.
- Authorization to perform weddings and other ceremonial duties in Canada and PEI.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and the province of Prince Edward Island.

Faith Bible Church is a multicultural, non-denominational community church located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. We meet together on Sunday mornings for contemporary worship and a message taught from the Bible. We provide nursery services during worship, along with Kingdom Kidz for young children.
