  • Third-party Social Media Service - means any services or content (including data, information, products or services) provided by a third-party that may be displayed, included or made available by the Service.

  • You - means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If You disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions then You may not access the Service.

Your access to and use of the Service is also conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with the Privacy Policy of the Company. 1. The Service & Eligibility

Definition: JustChurchJobs is a platform designed for Christian organizations to post employment opportunities and for candidates to apply for ministry positions.

Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. Right to Refuse Service & Content Moderation

Theological Scope: This platform is explicitly designed for Christian ministry organizations. We exist to serve churches and Christian organizations within these theological traditions.

Discretionary Removal: JustChurchJobs reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject, remove, or edit any job posting, user account, or content that does not align with our mission or theological parameters, including content that conflicts with our Statement of Belief.

No Obligation: JustChurchJobs is not a party to any employment contract between employers and candidates. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legitimacy of any job posting, resume, or user-provided content. We do not verify the identity of users or the accuracy of information provided.

3. Strict Anti-Scraping & Data Use

Zero-Tolerance Policy: Any form of automated data collection, including but not limited to "scraping," "crawling," "harvesting," "spidering," or using bots to extract data from the Service is strictly prohibited. This includes candidate resumes, job postings, user profiles, and all other proprietary Content.

Liquidated Damages: You acknowledge that unauthorized data collection causes significant and irreparable harm to the Company's business operations and that the exact amount of such damages is difficult to ascertain. Therefore, You agree that any violation of this Anti-Scraping policy shall entitle the Company to liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per individual resume, job post, or data point accessed, copied, or harvested. This provision does not limit the Company's right to seek further injunctive relief or actual damages.

Technical Measures: We reserve the right to implement technical measures to prevent unauthorized extraction, including blocking IP addresses and using bot-detection software.

Purpose Limitation: Church and organizational users may only use candidate data obtained through the Service for the specific purpose of evaluating candidates for active job openings. You may NOT use candidate data to:

  • Build independent databases or contact lists
  • Create marketing or promotional materials
  • Sell or transfer data to third parties
  • Contact candidates for purposes unrelated to the specific job opening they applied for
  • Retain candidate data after the position has been filled or the job posting removed

4. Security & Liability Disclaimer

No Guarantee of Security: While the Company implements industry-standard security measures (such as SSL encryption) to protect Your information, We do not and cannot guarantee that the Service is 100% secure.

Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet is never completely secure. You provide Your information and Content at Your own risk.

Third-Party Acts: You specifically acknowledge and agree that the Company is not liable for the criminal, unauthorized, or malicious acts of third parties, including but not limited to hackers, "data breaches," or "zero-day" exploits that bypass Our security protocols. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all liability for any loss or theft of data resulting from such third-party actions.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustChurchJobs shall not be liable for:

  • Any data breaches, security incidents, or unauthorized access to user information
  • Lost employment opportunities or failed hires
  • Disputes, conflicts, or legal issues between employers and employees
  • The accuracy or completeness of any job posting, resume, or user content
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service

No Warranty: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

5. Payments (Stripe Integration)

Third-Party Handling: All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. We do not store, process, or transmit credit card numbers or other payment information on our own servers. By making a payment through the Service, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.

Billing: You agree to provide accurate and complete billing information. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees associated with your use of the Service. Failed payments may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Our Job Listing Refund Guarantee

There are few things more important than stewarding your church's resources.

If you don't receive qualified candidates within your posting period, we will refund every dollar back to your church. It doesn't make any "business" sense, but that isn't our priority. Our mission, ultimately, is to help churches advance His Kingdom.

Email us to request a refund and we will process it within 24 hours.

User Accounts

When You create an account with Us, You must provide Us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of Your account on Our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that You use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under Your password, whether Your password is with Our Service or a Third-Party Social Media Service.

You agree not to disclose Your password to any third party. You must notify Us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of Your account.

You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity or that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity other than You without appropriate authorization, or a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar or obscene.

Your Right to Post Content

Our Service allows You to post Content. You are responsible for the Content that You post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

By posting Content to the Service, You grant Us the right and license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through the Service. You retain any and all of Your rights to any Content You submit, post or display on or through the Service and You are responsible for protecting those rights. You agree that this license includes the right for Us to make Your Content available to other users of the Service, who may also use Your Content subject to these Terms.

You represent and warrant that: (i) the Content is Yours (You own it) or You have the right to use it and grant Us the rights and license as provided in these Terms, and (ii) the posting of Your Content on or through the Service does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person.

You agree to maintain a complete and accurate copy of any Content in a location independent of the Service.

Statement of Belief

JustChurchJobs.com is an evangelical non-denominational organization that seeks to serve all God-honoring, Bible-believing Christian churches within the Christian traditions.

When you post a job to JustChurchJobs.com, we require that you create a profile that collects personal information such as your name and your email. To post a job, we also collect information related to the position including information about the organization seeking the employee, the job title, job overview, denomination, and church size. To post a job you must affirm that the organization seeking to add a job is able to affirm our statements of belief. By creating an account, either as a job seeker or employer, you acknowledge that JustChurchJobs.com reserves the right to remove any job posts or accounts at its discretion.

Our statements of belief:

  • We believe in the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Intellectual Property Infringement

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. It is Our policy to respond to any claim that Content posted on the Service infringes a copyright or other intellectual property infringement of any person.

  • Upon receipt of a notification, the Company will take whatever action, in its sole discretion, it deems appropriate, including removal of the challenged content from the Service.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by You or other users), features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors.

The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Country and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of the Company.

Your Feedback to Us

You assign all rights, title and interest in any Feedback You provide the Company. If for any reason such assignment is ineffective, You agree to grant the Company a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free, worldwide right and licence to use, reproduce, disclose, sub-licence, distribute, modify and exploit such Feedback without restriction.

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Company.

The Company has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We may use the word partner throughout our promotion materials. This does not imply that we have any relationship with said organization. We do not claim to have any relationship with any partners. We may use the word "partnering with" if we are contact customers with a coupon code to identify the source of how we go the information.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your Account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach these Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If You wish to terminate Your Account, You may simply discontinue using the Service.

Governing Law

The laws of the Country, excluding its conflicts of law rules, shall govern this Terms and Your use of the Service. Your use of the Application may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.

Dispute Resolution

If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company.

For European Union (EU) Users

If You are a European Union consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident in.

United States Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country that is subject to the United States government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

Except as provided herein, the failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under this Terms shall not effect a party's ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter nor shall be the waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Translation Interpretation

These Terms and Conditions may have been translated if We have made them available to You on our Service.

You agree that the original English text shall prevail in the case of a dispute.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
