First Baptist Church, Pine Prairie is a Southern Baptist Church seeking God's will and guidance to fill this position. The Pastor is responsible for the Biblical teaching and preaching in accordance with the Holy Bible and within the provisions of the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 along with church wide pastoral care. The pastor will be responsible for shepherding our church family and overseeing its other leadership staff. In addition to maintaining all biblical qualifications of pastor, the ideal candidate will confidently cast his vision for the church and, along with his family, eagerly embrace the community of Pine Prairie and the surrounding area.

We are seeking resumes for candidates for this position. Our church has approximately 200 resident members and we were averaging 65 in Sunday School. We have a good mix of young, median, and senior families.

Current church paid staff includes a part time Music Minister, and a part time Church Secretary.

For anyone wishing to be considered, we are focusing on a candidate with at least five years’ Pastoral experience. A degree from seminary is a plus.

Parsonage is provided and compensation is competitive.
