Candidate Data

When You create a candidate account or apply for positions through Our Service, We may collect the following information:

  • Professional Information: Resume, CV, work history, education, skills, certifications, and professional references.
  • Theological Alignment Data: Information regarding Your denominational affiliation, theological beliefs, church involvement, ministry experience, and other faith-related information that You voluntarily provide to help churches assess fit for ministry positions.
  • Application Materials: Cover letters, portfolios, and other documents submitted as part of job applications.
  • Communication Data: Messages, notes, and correspondence between You and churches or Our team.

Special Categories of Data

By using our Service, You may voluntarily provide information regarding Your religious beliefs, denominational affiliation, and theological alignment. We use this data solely to match You with appropriate ministry opportunities within the Protestant and Catholic traditions.

Employer Data

When You create an employer account to post jobs, We may collect:

  • Organization Information: Church or organization name, denomination, physical address, website, and church size.
  • Contact Information: Name, email address, and phone number of authorized representatives.
  • Verification Information: Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Tax ID (if applicable), and other information to verify the legitimacy of the organization.
  • Job Posting Details: Position descriptions, requirements, compensation ranges, and other employment-related information.

Payment Data

We use a third-party payment processor, Stripe, to handle all financial transactions. We do not store or collect Your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Stripe, whose use of Your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service and may include:

  • Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address)
  • Browser type and browser version
  • The pages of our Service that You visit
  • The time and date of Your visit and time spent on those pages

With Churches (Employers)

When You apply for a job through Our Service, Your candidate data (including resume, contact information, and any theological alignment information You have provided) is shared with the specific church or organization to which You applied. This sharing is necessary for the employment application process. Churches are bound by our Terms of Service regarding how they may use this data.

With Potential Third Parties

We may share Your resume and candidate profile information with outside recruiters, ministry partners, or placement services for the purpose of helping You find suitable ministry employment opportunities. This sharing is intended to increase Your visibility to potential employers within the Christian ministry sector. We will only share information that You have made available in Your public profile or that You have explicitly consented to share.

With Ministry Partners

We may share Your resume and contact information with church recruiters, denominational offices, or ministry partners to facilitate employment opportunities that align with Your profile.

No Selling of Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade Your personal data to third-party advertisers, marketers, or data brokers. We do not share Your information with companies for the purpose of serving You targeted advertisements. Any sharing of data is solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy—facilitating connections between candidates and ministry employers.

Other Sharing Situations

We may also share Your personal information in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers: We may share Your personal information with Service Providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting providers, analytics services, and customer support platforms.

  • To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
  • For other purposes: We may use Your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, and to evaluate and improve our Service.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located.
