Madison, Wisconsin
For 50 years Faith Community Bible Church has ministered to students at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and to residents of the surrounding neighborhoods. We strive to be a community that prays and worships together, abiding in God's presence and welcoming others in, nurturing followers of Jesus, sending disciples into the city and around the world to love and serve God and neighbor.
We are rooted in the testimony of Scripture and value attentiveness to the presence, leading, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, encouraging every member to use their gifts to serve and minister to one another as we participate in the Kingdom of God. Such ministry finds expression in prayer, in practical service to one another, and in creative arts — dance, painting, music, drama, and story.
Consistent with our affirmation of the priesthood of all believers and our core value of community, ministry at FCBC is organized in teams, with small groups working together to bring teaching, worship, prayer, and housegroup-based discipleship. The Leadership Team brings spiritual direction for the congregation. The Director of Team Ministries will be a consistent connection between church leadership and leaders of the various church ministries and the wider congregation. The Director of Team Ministries will serve as a resource to advise and nurture the leaders and ministries of FCBC in line with the objectives set by the Leadership Team.
