LifeSong Church Worship Leader Job Description:

Part-time, 10 - 15 hours per week.

Worship Leader Characteristics:

• Born again, Spirit-filled, and seeking to live Christ-centered.

• Alignment with the beliefs/ethos of the Global Methodist Church.

• Shepherd God’s people into deeper intimacy in spirit and truth through music that extends beyond a momentary experience.

• Team player

Worship Leader Responsibilities:

• Lead worship on Sundays at 10 am

• Engage with community members before and after service

• Lead volunteer worship team in 1-2 practices per month and 1-2 Sundays per month

• Small group discipleship with the volunteer worship team

• Attend staff meetings weekly

• Partner with staff on community events proactively

Worship Leader Opportunities:

• Creative/prayerful community outreach ministries through worship

• Work with IT director on stage elements - stage design, lighting, sound system

• Staff bonding/retreats

• Lead worship for Asbury Seminary chapel services monthly

• Lead worship for preschool chapel services monthly

Role Requirements:

• Experience leading worship

• Proficient in Planning Center - scheduling volunteers and prayerfully selecting music

• Proficient in Pro Presenter - lyric slides
