Franklin First United Methodist Church is a vibrant and growing congregation located on 105 beautiful acres just north of historic downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Since our founding in 1799, we’ve been deeply rooted in the community and committed to sharing God’s love through worship, service, and meaningful relationships.
We offer three dynamic worship services each Sunday, along with flourishing children’s and youth ministries. Our outreach includes impactful mission efforts—like our Giving Garden, which grows and donates over 20,000 pounds of fresh produce each year to help feed our neighbors in need.
Our youth ministry serves students in grades 7–12 through two weekly gatherings, along with a variety of special events, retreats, summer camps, and mission trips. A highlight of our year is Discovery Weekend each August—a middle school retreat led by our high school students. In January, we look forward to our much-loved ski retreat to Winterplace, West Virginia.
Many who visit Franklin First say it feels like coming home. We work hard to create a church where everyone is known, valued, and encouraged to grow deeper in their faith while finding meaningful ways to serve.
