Mission Point

Mission Point Church, formerly Cook Road Baptist Church, was established in 1970 and has a long history of faithfully serving the Mansfield community. Today, we are a multigenerational church family made up of young families, middle-aged couples, retirees, and seniors. We are a warm and welcoming congregation with a genuine desire to love people well, serve our community, and make the gospel of Jesus Christ known both locally and around the world.

Our mission—Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples—keeps us focused on what matters most. We believe discipleship is at the heart of the church’s calling. We want to see people not simply attend church, but grow in their love for Christ, become increasingly shaped by His Word, and learn to follow Jesus in every area of life. Our Deep Discipleship Course is one of the primary ways we seek to foster this kind of spiritual formation, providing a pathway for people to grow deeper in their understanding of Scripture, their relationship with Christ, and their ability to live as faithful disciples who make disciples.
