University Baptist Church

We are a community of believers serving and worshiping in the heart of Fort Worth and on the doorsteps of Texas Christian University. While our history in this community runs deep (since 1929) we are bursting with new life. Our missional focus is shaped by the words and work of Jesus in Matthew 9. As a church and as individuals, we are called to see ripe fields, scatter gospel seeds, and celebrate God’s harvest.

We want to see the world as Jesus sees it—with compassion and hope. We commit to going where He sends us, sharing the good news of the Gospel through word and deed. And in every season, we choose joy, trusting that God is faithful to bring growth and fruit beyond what we can accomplish on our own.
