Thomasville First Baptist Church

We’re a community of people whose lives have been radically changed by Jesus and who have been raised from spiritual death to life by Him. Because of what Jesus has done for us, our mission as a church is to help people follow Jesus for the joy of Thomasville and the nations.

We’re not perfect, and we don’t expect you to be. We know we can’t earn our position with God by anything we can do. Instead, we place our trust in the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus; leave our old selves behind; and put Him in charge of our lives. We will still mess up, but we rely on the Holy Spirit to help us learn from our mistakes and stand strong in our weaknesses.

Together, we’re growing in our faith and in our understanding of God and His Word. We’re learning how to better follow Jesus’ example and live out His commands every day. We want to encourage each other to love God and love our neighbors with our whole lives.
