General Responsibilities:
Oversee the Children's Ministry, champion the children's ministry leadership development strategy, create and continuously improve follow-up methods to ensure that new children and their families are plugged into the church, manage budget forecasts and expenses for ministry.
Focus:
Create environments, activities and programming for each age group that will facilitate learning and encourage spiritual growth. Implement and maintain the church's child protection policy, provide opportunities for children to discover their unique purpose and begin developing their talents and abilities, implement the strategy to equip parents to help their children take their next steps toward Christ.
Volunteers:
Build systems and structures that lead people from being spectators to volunteers. Oversee systems for background checks, safety and security procedures, scheduling, training and care of volunteers. Provide volunteer teams with current children's ministry best practices. Ensure all volunteers have cleared their background check.
