Associate Pastor/Student Minister

Monticello Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor/Student Minister to lead a vibrant student ministry that ministers to 50+ students a week through various ministry outreach mediums like Sunday School, prayer breakfast, Wednesday worship, camps, and conferences with growth potential. The primary responsibilities of the Associate Pastor/Student Minister will be to plan, organize, and execute a comprehensive ministry to students (6th-12th grades) and their families. Here at MBC, we place a strong emphasis on students and reaching the next generation, and we are looking for an energetic person to lead our church in meeting this goal.

The Associate Pastor/Student Minister will work directly with the Pastor and assist him with the everyday administrative duties associated with the operation of the church, planning/executing ministries to the church and community as a whole, and help with pastoral care. 

Qualifications:

• The Associate Pastor/Student Minister should be called by God to serve in ministry.
• Possess a passion for impacting the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Be organized, possess good interpersonal skills, be a team player, and be able to relate well to people in all age groups.
• A college or seminary degree is highly preferred.
• Be an ordained minister or have a desire to become ordained.
• Be able to support and share a common vision with the Pastor and the congregation to point people to Jesus.
