Minister of Youth

Summary:

First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas, is seeking a full-time Student Minister who feels a calling to work with our children and youth.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and promote a balanced program of activities and discipleship ministry to youth (grades 7-12).

• Oversee Youth Sunday School and Wednesday Evenings.

• Train and involve youth and youth leaders in outreach.

• Involve youth in ministry and mission projects.

• Support youth in their school setting.

• Partner with parents and be available to discuss issues related to their child or youth ministry.

• Coordinate with the pastor and other ministry leaders in the church.

• Be available and willing to participate in every area of church ministry.

Requirements

• Requires commitment to biblical Christian principles and teachings and have a heart for Jesus Christ.

• Be an example of Christian honesty and integrity; representing our Lord and His church in a worthy manner.

• Follow the biblical example of stewardship.

• Keep an attitude of ministry mindedness in all that you do.
