Family Ministries and Community Pastor

1.     Lead our church to prioritize equipping families to follow God together while also seeking to “be” family for those who have none.

2.     Direct Responsibility for all ministries Birth - 5th Grade.

·       Sunday morning programming

·       Once a month Pray First - Children’s Program / Family Engagement

·       Community Outreach Event - Movies In the Park (4x)

·       Pine Cove Camp in the City - (our full day-camp once a week in the Summer)

·       We currently have never had a facility but are about to enter our first permanent facility in March 2023, so there is the new possibility of other family/community events that aren’t imagined yet but we hope you will be an integral leader for stewarding this new facility to effectively reach the families in our community.

3.     Direct Outreach to every family whose child attends our Adventure Academy.

·       I want every family whose child attends our daycare to be treated as if they are a vital part of our church even if they never show up on Sundays.

·       Structure and mobilize a care response team that can handle the needs that will arise in families in the daycare, including training and mobilizing daycare community chaplains from our church body to be onsite volunteer help at key points of the day.

·       As you do this it will make sense for you to bring more leadership and structure to our care team.  It is a responsive group but needs more staff connection and more comprehensive approach.
