Lead Pastor

Faith Community Church in New Richmond, Wisconsin, is in search of their new Lead Pastor. Planted in 1997, Faith Community is a Bible-based expository teaching church whose mission is to make disciples who plant the church. They are looking for a faithful shepherd to provide visionary leadership and teaching in pursuit of their mission to escort disconnected unbelievers into a genuine, joy-filled faith in community with other growing Christ followers.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Work with the elder council to provide visionary leadership and teaching in pursuit of the church’s mission 
• Teach and exhort the Bible by precept and example 
• Help bring people to maturity of faith through insightful and accurate presentation and proclamation of the Bible, equipping them to be the true ministers of the body 
• Develop and raise servant leaders from within the church 
• Serve as the point leader of the preaching team for corporate gatherings 
• Pursue meaningful involvement in key roles to impact the community

Skills you need to have: 

• Authentic love for God and a heart for people, both those who are Christ-followers and those far from God 
• Embraces the doctrinal positions, purpose, and core values of FCC 
• A minimum of five years of experience providing visionary leadership, people development, and ministry deployment 
• Has demonstrated the ability to lead others in a God-honoring way 
• Teamwork-oriented 
• Prepared to make a five-year commitment 

New Richmond is still considered a small city with all the amenities of the larger cities. It offers a small-town feel with everything you could ever want just a short drive away. In 2022 all three of the New Richmond School District Elementary Schools were ranked in the U.S. News and World Report as some of the best elementary schools in the county. If outdoors are your thing, you will find a couple of the most visited Wisconsin State Parks less than an hour away for all of your hiking and camping needs. The area is ideal for any growing family! New Richmond is also home to a growing business community.
