A worship leader at Christ Church is a part of the team primarily responsible for leading in this pursuit by executing creative, distraction-free, God-glorifying services. This person is not only leading the church in gospel-centered worship of Jesus, they are also influencing the church to grow and excel more as worshipers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Character: Growing member of Christ Church who meets the qualification of deacons in 1 Tim. 3:8-13
- Compatibility: Embodies the values, philosophies, and culture of Christ Church
- Chemistry: Joyfully and effectively works within the organizational structure of Christ Church
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead worship services at the Gilbert Campus on weekends and during special events and services.
- Plan services and events, design creative elements, and develop content with the entire worship leadership team.
- Direct the worship team by recruiting new members, designing and implementing training and development materials for all congregations, and providing weekly coaching and feedback.
- Participate in songwriting and production with Vintage Worship, if applicable.
