Children's Ministry Director

The Children's Ministry Director will be responsible for leading a comprehensive preschool through fifth grade children's ministry. This will include Sunday morning discipleship, Wednesday evening children's programming, and Children's worship on Sunday morning along with related activities (Fall festivals, Trunk or Treat, Christmas events, children's camp, etc.) Summit is located in North Cobb County (a suburb of metro Atlanta) and the culture of the community is primarily college educated middle-aged adults with children.

Nestled in the pines of Acworth, Georgia, Summit Baptist Church strives to connect with our community, both locally and beyond, to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ while helping to encourage Christians to deepen their faith in our Creator – the One, true God. Our mission is to help people find and follow Jesus Christ through a variety of programs and ministries to help achieve this goal. These include Sunday worship services, Bible studies, youth programs, and community outreach initiatives. 

Summit Baptist Church also has a strong emphasis on missions, both locally and globally. The church partners with organizations and individuals to support and participate in various mission projects around the world.
