Brentwood Presbyterian Church is committed to creating a community where youth know they are loved by God and by others, and learn how to love themselves. Our goal is to provide them with opportunities to grow in God's grace, to enable them to develop the spiritual and personal resources necessary for life's journey and to help guide them into a loving relationship with God, self and others.
We are searching for an exceptional individual with a strong faith to help lead our middle and high school ministries. The successful candidate should have some experience with youth ministry, strong relational skills and the ability to recruit and inspire a team of volunteers.
Relevant youth ministry leadership experience is expected. The candidate should have the ability to forge appropriate mentor relationships with students and a strong faith. Must be available to work 20 + hours a week, including Sunday mornings .
BPC is a welcoming Christian faith community. We place a high value on serving others, celebrating God's love, nurturing personal growth and having lots of fun. The hours are negotiable and flexible. Our youth program is active and vibrant with long standing traditions of Mexico house building, river rafting and summer and winter camp trips.
We are located on the Westside of Los Angeles, just a few miles from the beach!
