First Baptist Church jobs

FBC is a caring, loving, family-oriented, conservative congregation. The church was built upon the doctrine of salvation by grace, has long stood upon the foundation of Christ’s love, and holds-forth the Word of God as the final word for life and death. We respect the New Testament teaching that every person is his own high priest, encouraging every person to daily worship and personal, private communication with God. Like most churches, COVID concerns continue to influence our attendance. Our average attendance remains about 40% below average, but we anticipate these numbers will continue to improve as the pandemic weakens

           Always striving to be good stewards of God’s blessings, we were able to pay off the construction loan on our current building earlier than expected. We house and provide case workers for the church community DuKare food pantry. We are actively involved with Community Backpack Angels which provides school supplies and summer lunches to underprivileged children. We share Christ through a one-day Kidsfest several times during the year. We have fund raising events to provide Christmas gifts to needy children in our community. We continue to support missions through the Cooperative Program. We provide help to church and community members through our benevolence fund. We collect used Bible teaching materials to take to Eagle’s Nest, a non-profit organization dedicated to shipping more than a thousand tons of donated bibles and other Christian media all over the world. We celebrate special events throughout the year with times of fun, fellowship and worship.
