Norwood United Methodist Church jobs

Norwood United Methodist Church is in Norwood, PA, a Delaware County suburb on the outskirts of Philadelphia. Since the pandemic about 40 people have been coming in person on Sundays, and about another 40 watch our services on the internet. The demographics of the congregation is mostly over 60, however, we are connected to a lot of youth through our children, grandchildren, and acquaintances. We recently held a teenage youth event to go to a Phillies game and got a turnout of 14 teenagers! After the baseball game they all came back for pizza and games in the Church’s Social Hall. Everyone in the congregation is extremely supportive of youth events and we even have a few members who are looking to volunteer with youth on a regular basis. The Interboro School District is full of hundreds of young people that do not seem to have very many church-related outlets in the region, and we are looking to be a welcoming church family and start a youth group and Sunday school for them!
