Friendship Baptist Church

Friendship Baptist Church (FBC) is a church situated about 40 miles southwest of Chicago in the suburb of Plainfield IL. Plainfield is a growing community of around 47,000 recently named one of the top ten “hipsturbias” in America (a term coined by the New York Times). Plainfield is a developing residential area with thriving businesses which presents great growth potential for the church.

Typical Sunday morning services follow a blended style whereby a mix of contemporary Christian songs and hymns complement sermons that are relevant, practical, and biblically centered. FBC is a Southern Baptist Church that subscribes to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. FBC is affiliated with the Illinois Baptist State Association (IBSA) and the regional Three Rivers Baptist Association.
