First Baptist Church of Pensacola sits on top of the hill in downtown Pensacola. We have spent the last 176 years seeking to bring glory to God through our ministries and missions here in Pensacola, FL and beyond. While we are an old church, we feel the best way to honor the past is to look to the future. Downtown Pensacola is growing and so is First Baptist Church of Pensacola. Our largest area of growth is currently in the young adult area, which also means we are growing in both the youth and children's areas. It is an exciting time to be here at First Baptist Church.
We are unique in the sense that we offer to very distinct corporate worship gatherings. Our 8:00 and 9:30 services are more contemporary and casual, while our 11:00 service is much more traditional with music led by a choir and orchestra. We have small group Bible Study times for all ages and Sunday morning as well as throughout the week. Our pastor preaches Biblically sound expository sermons with very real time application to the current world.
