Calvary Church

Calvary is a growingly-diverse, future-looking church, committed to living out the Gospel in the West Asheville community and beyond. The church has a long history in West Asheville and, for the past three years, has been reinventing itself. With a heart for “following Jesus and friending the world,” the church focuses on Biblically-based, Gospel-focused preaching, Christ-honoring worship, sharing the Gospel and making disciples, and serving our community in the name of Christ. The uniqueness of Calvary is captured in our Guiding Ministry Principles (www.calvarync.org). While Baptist in its 115 year heritage, Calvary has recently voted to be unaffiliated with a denomination. We partner with local, state, national, and international missions and ministries with whom we share our core values and that minister in the name of Jesus Christ and for the sake of His Gospel.
