CLC exists to help people BELONG, BE KNOWN, and FIND PURPOSE through the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.

Our 5 values shape who we are as a church and what we aim to do:

BIBLICALLY BOUND: 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We allow Scripture to shape everything we do: our preaching, our worship, our discipleship, all of it sits humbly under the authority of God’s Word. We submit to what the Bible says. To be “Biblically Bound” means we gladly submit to the authority of God’s Word.

WORSHIPFULLY RESPONSIVE: Hebrews 12:28 

We believe worship is the natural posture and response of the Christian life. We were made to worship and enjoy God, and we give ourselves to what we most deeply delight in. Because of who God is and what He has done, we respond with gratitude, reverence, and joy.

MISSIONALLY DRIVEN: Matthew 28:18-20

We believe Jesus has sent His church into the world to make disciples. Because all authority belongs to Him, we go with confidence, proclaim the gospel, baptize believers, and teach people to follow Jesus in all of life.

JOYFULLY PRESENT: John 15:10-11

We believe true joy is found in abiding in Jesus. As we remain in His love and walk in His ways, His joy shapes us into people who are present with God, present with one another, and present in the life of the church.

GENEROUSLY ENGAGED: 1 Peter 4:10

We believe God has graciously given each of us gifts to use for the good of others. Therefore, we desire to be a people who gladly serve, give, and engage in the life of the church with open hands and open hearts.
