Community Life Church is a Bible-teaching church in North Peoria seeking a passionate and experienced Worship Leader who can provide capable, Christ-centered leadership during our Sunday morning services at 10:00 AM. The ideal candidate will have a heart for ministry, strong musical abilities, and excellent leadership skills to guide our congregation in worship.

Position Title: Worship Leader

Position Type: Part-Time 

Reports To: Lead Pastor

Compensation: $2,100 - $2,600/ monthly (commensurate with experience)  

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Worship Leader who can provide capable, Christ-centered leadership during our Sunday morning services at 10:00 AM. The ideal candidate will have a heart for ministry, strong musical abilities, and the leadership skills to guide our congregation in worship.Responsibilities:

• Lead worship with vocals and/or an instrument during Sunday morning services
• Be present at the church on Sundays from 7:00 AM–11:30 AM for setup, preparation, rehearsal, worship services, and post-service responsibilities.
• Lead the worship team’s Sunday morning rehearsal at approximately 8:00 AM.
• Attend a one-hour worship planning meeting during the week with the Lead Pastor and other appropriate team members
• Select and rehearse music that aligns with the church’s vision and sermon themes
• Coordinate with the pastor, AV team, and volunteer musicians
• Cultivate a Christ-centered worship environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience leading worship in a church setting is required.
• This is not an entry-level position. Candidates should have demonstrated experience leading a congregation, directing musicians, planning worship services, and working with volunteer worship teams.
• The ideal candidate will be able to step into the role with confidence, maturity, and a proven ability to lead worship effectively from the outset.
